| FOR A LIVE READING in 2013 that celebrated four Gainesville water writers, Margaret Ross Tolbert created “The Myth of the Aquifer.” In this work, she imagines that, long after the Floridan aquifer and springs have ceased to exist, one of our descendants ponders artifacts and an old book about these natural systems.
